Family Doctors

Dr. V. Iankova MD, CCFP

Dr.Iankova graduated from the Medical University of Sofia, Bulgaria, in 1985 where later she obtained a specialty in Internal Diseases (1991).  She completed a two-year postgraduate residency program in Family Medicine at The University of Western Ontario, London, and became a Certificant of the College of Family Physicians (CCFP) in 2010.   Dr.Iankova is a member of The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, The College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Ontario Medical Association.  Her special interests include preventive health care and health care of the elderly.  In 2025 Dr. Iankova received the Ontario College of Family Physicians patient-nominated Certificate of Recognition.

Dr. A. Lai, DO, BSc(Hon), MA, CCFP

Dr. Lai graduated from the University of Western Ontario in London, ON with a B.Sc (Hons) and MA, prior to completing medical school at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI in 2014. Dr. Lai then completed his family medicine residency at Sparrow Hospital/Michigan State University in Lansing, MI in 2021. Dr. Lai served as chief resident during the last year of his residency. Dr. Lai is a certificant of the College of Family Physicians of Canada, and a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and the Ontario Medical Association


Dr. M. Lam BSc(Hon), MD, MBChB, CCFP

Dr. Lam graduated with a BSc. (Hons) from the University of Toronto prior to receiving his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Bristol (England). Dr. Lam then practiced hospital medicine for two years in the United Kingdom`s National Health Service before completing his residency at the University of Toronto.  Dr. Lam is a certificant of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.  Dr. Lam's special interests include internal medicine and comprehensive family medicine.


Dr. Karen Ma MD, CCFP

Dr. Ma is a native of Halifax, Nova Scotia. She received her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland and completed her family medicine residency at the University of Toronto. Dr. Ma is a certificant of the College of Family Physicians of Canada, and a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and the Ontario Medical Association.


Dr. S. Samaha MD, CCFP, FCFP

Dr. Samaha graduated from the University of Ottawa medical school obtaining her Doctorate in Medicine (MD) degree in 2001.  She completed her family practice residency with the University of Toronto at Sunnybrook and Women's College hospital in 2003.  Dr. Samaha is a certificant of the College of Family Physicians of Canada, and a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and the Ontario Medical Association.  Dr. Samaha was awarded fellowship with the College of Family Physicians in 2015 (FCFP).  In 2025, Dr. Samaha received the Ontario College of Family Physicians patient-nominated Certificate of Recognition.

Dr. Mahsa Talebian, MD, CCFP

Dr. Mahsa Talebian obtained her Doctorate of Medicine (MD) at Windsor University SOM in 2020. She completed her family medicine training at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, Michigan. 

Dr. Talebian is a dedicated physician committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. With a focus on evidence-based medicine and a compassionate approach, Dr. Talebian works closely with patients to support their health, well-being, and long-term outcomes.

Dr. Amy Wong DO, FCFP, CCFP, DABFM

Dr. Wong is a graduate of New York University with a Bachelor in Biology and subsequently completed her medical education at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, Long Island. Dr. Wong completed a 3 year residency training through Mt Sinai’s Family Medicine residency program at Jamaica Hospital in Queens, New York. Dr. Wong has a special interest in care of the elderly and palliative care. She completed an elective with University of Toronto at the Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care. Dr. Wong continues to provide palliative care to residents in long term care homes as well as patients in the community.

In her free time, Dr. Wong enjoys traveling and hiking with her family. Her most memorable trips include the trek to Mt. Everest’s base camp in Nepal, the volunteer work with temple restoration in Mongolia, and the hikes in national parks of Ljubljana, Slovenia

Dr. Louise Wong, MD, MBChB, CCFP

Dr. Wong attended the University of Bristol, United Kingdom, where she received her medical degree. Following graduation she worked for the National Health Service. She completed a two year training program at the Great Western Hospital, Swindon, in general medical and surgical specialities. She then worked for six months at Queen Charlotte's Hospital, London, in obstetrics and gynecology. 

Dr. Wong then returned to Canada and completed family medicine residency at Queen's University, Kingston. She is a member of the College of Family Physicians Canada and College of Physician and Surgeons of Ontario. Her special interests include women's health and care of the elderly.
